Special Issue on Survey Statistics
The Austrian Journal of Statistics publishes five to seven issues per year and is a journal
of the Austrian Statistical Society. Its general objective is to promote and extend the
use of statistical methods in all kinds of theoretical and applied disciplines. It is an
open-access journal without any fees and indexed in, e.g., Scopus., and increased its
impact 3.5-fold and the number of submissions tenfold in the last years.
An upcoming special issue of the journal will be devoted to survey statistics. Sub-
missions might range from theoretical considerations to actual applications of survey
statistical methods to investigate current societal challenges, for example in official
statistics. We especially welcome submissions that shed light on methods that jointly
use traditional data and so-called new data.
All submissions must contain original unpublished work not being considered for pub-
lication elsewhere. Up to 10 papers will be published in this special issue.
We cordially invite you to submit your manuscript to this special issue. Please see the
Guidelines for Authors located on the journal’s web page www.ajs.or.at for further
details. Authors are strongly encouraged to produce their papers using L A T EX.
